New hub at One Holland Village a source of motivation for youth with special needs, seniors (Berita Harian, Feb 11, 2025)
A new hub at One Holland Village will research new therapies to help youth with special needs cope with crises. Called ‘A Good Place’, the hub is being run by Presbyterian Community Social Services (PCS) … and is PCS’ largest facility to date.
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who was the guest of honour at the launch of ‘A Good Place’ on 11 February, said PCS’ efforts are a good example of how “goodness breeds goodness”.
The launch was attended by about 200 guests including donors, volunteers, partners and PCS staff, and was held to celebrate 50 years of service for PCS.
