We are pleased to announce that, effective 1 April 2026, PCS has converted from a society to a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), operating under the new legal name: Presbyterian Community Social Services Ltd.
The CLG structure provides PCS with a formal and widely recognised organisational framework, under which PCS exists as a legal entity separate from the individuals associated with it. While our legal status has converted, our mission, programmes, beneficiaries, staff, stewardship values, and commitment to donors and community impact remain the same.
As a CLG, PCS continues to be registered as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC). To better support our community, the Commissioner of Charities (COC) has rolled out several incentives designed to make giving and volunteering more impactful for everyone.
Your qualifying donations continue to be eligible for tax relief with just $50. Through this support, we continue to empower children, youth, and seniors across more than 18 touchpoints and through essential services like Meals-on-Wheels, trauma-informed residential care, and vocational training.
We look forward to continuing this journey with our donors and corporate partners to empower the community.
