The Centre Principal will be responsible for developing strategic plans and structures to lead the staff towards achieving high quality of learning for the children at the centre.  She will develop frameworks for sustainable partnership with parents & other stakeholders and ensure centre viability.

As a Centre Leader, the Principal inspires and guides the staff in implementing a holistic curriculum.  She will be responsible for managing all the administrative, financial and operational matters relating to the centre and will ensure adherence to industry regulations.

An important role of the principal is also to oversee the well-being of the staff and provide mentorship to the team of teachers, supporting and enabling them to achieve their career aspirations.

Requirements

  • Masters / Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), with Diploma in Pre-school Education-Leadership (DPL)

Job Description

Job Description

The Learning Support Educator (LSEd) is a key player to the success of the Development Support and Learning Support (DS-LS) Programme. A preschool teacher by training, the LSEd serves as a resource in the early childhood landscape by supporting preschool teachers and children with learning and developmental needs within the classroom setting.  Some of the key responsibilities include:

  1. Use prescribed screening tools to screen children referred by preschool teachers for learning and developmental issues
  2. Present screening outcomes to Paediatricians and the therapy teams at Case Filter Meetings
  3. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, caregivers and DS-LS professionals to provide support for children with mild developmental needs
  4. Work out the individual education plan (IEP) for the DS-LS children
  5. Support therapy teams by embedding the therapy goals into the classroom curriculum
  6. Conduct intervention through support packages to DS-LS children
  7. Provide in-class support to children who have received intervention packages
  8. Ensure goals set are achieved during sessions with the DS-LS children and are generalized into the classroom
  9. Complete End-of-Intervention (EOI) report at closure of case

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Job Description

The Resource Teacher supports children with special needs aged 2 to 6 years old who have been diagnosed as having mild to moderate disability, under the Integrated Child Care Programme (ICCP).  Some of the key responsibilities include:

  1. Observe learning needs of SN children, plan and implement IEP within the regular educational setting aimed at optimising each child’s learning potential
  2. Provide individualised intervention (once or twice a week) to help children with special needs better succeed in daily learning and living
  3. Provide on-going monitoring of programme effectiveness
  4. Support the transition of these children into mainstream primary school where necessary
  5. Support classroom teachers by making recommendations and demonstrating intervention strategies to work towards achievement of IEP goals
  6. Share with parents the strategies that work with these special needs children and conduct training for parents

Job Description

Job Description
